Olympic
Rhapsody 2000 is appropriately dedicated to Charles Billich
in as much as the music aligns so closely with Billich's
powerfull sports images. Just as Charles so vividly expresses
on canvas the driving force of olympians striving to great
heights, so the music emotes high action ever apparent in
the rapid musical patterns. The music flows with those great
moments in time ultimately giving way to more pensive moods
as heard in the quieter melodies reflecting the aftermath
of such incredible exertion.
